I shop here early in the mornings when there is less customers. Today @ the end of aisle 7 I saw two employees chatting so I patiently waited for them to finish. I then asked "if I was honey, where would I be?" The kind fella told me exactly where it would be located in aisle 6, then pointed across the meat case nearest me to say he had a display there and there was one more display in the produce section. Thank you friendly and informative Cub employee! It's good information for future visits too. If you go early in the morning sometimes there can be a delay in the garbage cans being removed from the IN doors, no fear, they are open you just have to use the OUT doors. If you go early, there are the self checkouts and only th register 8 cashier. I was surprised to learn several months ago when I tracked down an employee to buy some of the plant based "meat" that was on sale that he said "we don't carry that at this store, we're considered inner city so we don't always carry everything in the ads". That was the only item I have ever encountered such an issue with and was able to head a few miles away to the Larpenteur store in Roseville for the item. Staff here are always friendly, thanks Cub!

Second time to this cub!! HUGE store! has 36 aisles! Easy to shop in! Has great yummy fried chicken!!

Every grocery store has its place. If you need to buy massive amounts of dry goods, you go to Costco. If you want to be fawned upon by employees, you go to Lund's/Byerly's. If you want office supplies, socks and DVDs at your grocery store, you go to SuperTarget. Cub Foods--and especially *this* Cub Foods--specializes in quality meat and produce at reasonable prices. The produce employees focus on in-season items, remove bruised goods, and rotate frequently. I can tell, because I find I don't have to be extremely picky to avoid problem produce. The quality of the packaged meat is also outstanding, much better than other stores and chains. I purchase pork chops, ground beef, and chuck roast frequently, and the meat I get here is much better than I get anywhere else. I cook nearly every meal for my family of four, and the quality of what I make depends on the quality of what I buy. For freshness, I rate this Cub second only to the farmers' market. Dry goods aren't a strength. You'll get better selection at Target, and better prices at lots of places. And of course, you'll have to bag your own groceries. Some cashiers are, ahem, slower than others. I self-checkout if I can. If you don't mind these inconveniences, Cub is a great place to shop.
